Canon's EOS Digital Rebel/300D is destined to become the most popular digital SLR on the market. Modeled after the EOS 10D, it has proportioned and simplified to appeal to users of all skill and interest levels. But is has forfeited none of the power and performance. It is equipped with a large-format 6.3 megapixel CMOS sensor with a 22.7 X 15.1 mm CCD, which is nearly 9 times larger than the image capture devices employed in other compact models. It utilizes Canon's exclusive DIGIC imaging processor specifically tuned for digital EOS cameras, eliminating stray light and unrealistic color. Its advanced signal processing algorithms enhance precision and detail and deliver color reproduction that is vivid and natural.
The DX-300D housing has been designed to harness this power underwater. The DX-300D has been dramatically streamlined from other existing DX models, enabling greater maneuverability and ease of use. It is rugged and lightweight, with easy-access, responsive controls. The DX-300D in tandem with the Rebel/300D is a system anyone can use with ease and enjoyment.
The housing is host to features that will nurture your creativity and allow expansion as your prowess at digital imaging grows. the DX-300D sports as standard a 6-pin bulkhead connector to dedicate the Canon SPEEDLITE 220EX, which offers E-TTL automatic light control. Or you can elect to use Sea & Sea YS-series strobe, dedicated via the 5-pin N bulkhead connector, also standard (excluding the YS-25AUTO, YS-25DX, and YS-60TTL/S). A wide array of NX ports will accommodate the extensive array of Canon interchangeable lenses. The shutter-activated focus light connector is also standard. It allows use of the shutter-activated focus light, an invaluable aid in AF macro shooting. The possibilities for enhanced imaging are limitless.
Most NX housing lens ports, gears, and accessories are compatible with this model.
