THE SB105 is a compact and well specified strobe, though comparatively low powered. It has a GN of 20 at 100 ISO and covers a 20mm lens on a Nikonos. An included diffuser spreads this to cover a Nikonos 15mm at the expense of a one stop decrease in output.

The 105 offers TTL automation with the Nikonos V and RS as well as Subal housings with the camera set to manual or aperture priority. Manual powers of Full, 1/4 and 1/16th are also provided, along with a slave facility. Four AA alkaline or nicads power the SB105 and the battery chamber is sealed from the electronics. The cable is removable for storage or field replacement.

The 105 is supplied with a mounting tray and straight arm.

Nikonos SB104 Speedlite

THE SB104 is a professional level strobe. It is fully dedicated to the RS and TTL compatible with the Nikonos V and Subal housed systems with the camera set to manual or aperture priority.

The 104 covers 100 degrees without a diffuser and easily covers a Nikonos 15mm lens. It has a powerful GN of 32. Manual powers of Full, 1/4th and 1/16th are provided. There is a slave facility and a facility to read the light from another strobe to fire the RS remotely. The 104 features a test flash function and warning lights for leakage or overheating.

Power is from a ni cad pack. Alkalines cannot be used. Please note that neither the charger nor battery are included - they must be purchased separately.

The 104 is supplied with tray, straight arm and interchangeable cable.

Speedlight accessories

SB104 charger: The 104 charger is dual voltage and can recharge two SB104 power packs simultaneously. Recharge time is about two hours with one power pack and four with two attached.

SB104 battery: The dedicated ni-cad power pack for the SB104 will provide around 120 flashes at full power with a recycle time of about 3 sec.

SB 105 diffuser: This diffuser fits both the SB103 and SB105 to increase the beam angle to cover a Nikonos 15mm lens. It reduces power by one stop.
